Hailing from Medellin, Mariana Hinestroza and Catalina Álvarez first came together in 2003 to handcraft swimsuits for their friends, using leftover fabrics and their grandmothers’ sewing machines. Since then, the pair have expanded beyond just swimwear, forming Agua by Agua Bendita, a label that works with local women artisans and places sustainability and Latin American culture at the core of its adventurous pieces. Boasting a fresh, blue and neutral print, the Lima Maxi Dress in Gloriosa is crafted in linen and made for warm-weather days.
