The beauty of Chicago is brought to life in the scarf “Silhouette”, inspired by a photograph of the city seen by Isabelle Gougenheim. The artwork shows a unique mix between real imagery and drawing, with original beige and yellow colors.
Employing the world as her muse and a blank scarf as her canvas, French-American artist Isabelle Gougenheim blends her passion for art and an innate love for scarves into wearable masterpieces. After sketching her designs – which she explains, are “inspired by the souls of the city streets” – Gougenheim prints these urban poems on a luxurious and airy modal-silk fabric. Her designs are available in fashion boutiques and museums all over the world.
